3. Account Requirements

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Snippet. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the service.

3.2 Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

4. Connected Accounts

4.1 Authorization

By connecting your social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter)) and email (Gmail) to Snippet, you authorize us to access, retrieve, and analyze data from those platforms as described in our Privacy Policy.

4.2 Email Access

When you connect your Gmail account, you authorize Snippet to read your emails to identify brand deal opportunities and to send emails on your behalf when you approve outreach campaigns. You understand that emails sent through Snippet will be sent from your email address.

4.3 Platform Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Snippet complies with the terms of service of any connected platforms. Snippet is not responsible for any violations of third-party platform terms resulting from your use of our service.

4.4 Disconnection

You may disconnect any connected account at any time through your account settings. Disconnecting an account will limit the functionality of certain Snippet features.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Snippet for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Send spam, unsolicited messages, or harassing content through our platform
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Use automated means to access the service without our permission
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
Violate the intellectual property rights of others
Use the service to send deceptive or fraudulent communications to brands

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Snippet's Rights

Snippet and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to the service, including all software, algorithms, AI models, designs, and documentation. The Snippet name, logo, and all related names, logos, and slogans are trademarks of Snippet.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of your content, including your social media content, emails, and any materials you provide to Snippet. By using our service, you grant Snippet a limited license to access, process, and analyze your content solely to provide and improve our services.

6.3 AI-Generated Content

Snippet generates various outputs including profile analyses, brand recommendations, and draft outreach messages. While you may use these outputs for your personal and business purposes, Snippet retains rights to the underlying AI models and methodologies used to generate them.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

AI-generated outreach emails and messages are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is sent.
Brand recommendations and match scores are based on AI analysis and do not guarantee partnership success or brand interest.
Deal valuations and rate recommendations are estimates based on available data and may not reflect actual market conditions.
You are solely responsible for the content of any communications sent through Snippet, even if based on AI suggestions.

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Free and Paid Features

Snippet offers both free and paid features. Access to certain features may require a paid subscription. Pricing and feature availability are subject to change.

8.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for any fees incurred. You agree to Stripe's terms of service for payment processing.

8.3 Subscription Terms

Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

8.4 Refunds

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

SNIPPET IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL SECURE BRAND DEALS OR ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR RESULTS FROM USING OUR SERVICE.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snippet and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

11.2 By Snippet

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless we believe immediate termination is necessary.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property provisions, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
